HELP STOP THIS MADNESS!!!
MAC
ONE YEAR OLD GOLDEN RETRIEVER TORTURED AND MURDERED BY HIS EVIL OWNER
This was a premeditated deliberate and prolonged horrific attack on a living sentient being
Mac's murderer walked free from court on 18/07/08 with a pathetic six month sentence - APPEALED.
This was MURDER! A slap on the wrist is unacceptable and an insult to Mac's memory and all other unfortunate animals that need our voice.
I demand our government to implement long prison sentences and heavy fines for the perpetrators of cruelty to animals and a total BAN on keeping animals or living in a household with animals present - A register of animal cruelty offenders.
We should not have to "petition" or "beg" for a law to protect our animals - Our government has a duty of care to protect our animals and to put in place a law that deals severely with the perpetrators of this barbaric cruelty.
*Cruel acts towards animals has long been recognised as indicators of a dangerous psychopathy that often claims human victims - Virtually every "serious" violent offender has a history of animal abuse.
Mac's horrific death would break the heart of any compassionate human being.
